The Democratic Party of Socialists has been in power all these years and decades thanks to laundered money by those privileged, who were allowed to launder it precisely because of that, said Vice President of the Democrats Vladimir Martinović.
"Just keep quiet, and this will pass, some new affair will come, which will bury this one like the snow that is falling these days, as well as all the affairs in which we were actors. After all, our people from the police, the prosecution, the judiciary and the ASK- and they are there just in case, if something goes wrong, to cut off any connection between us and the criminals." This is how the leading people in the DPS are thinking today after the outbreak of the Knežević - Atlas bank affair. And unfortunately, we have to admit that their tactics are good, all thanks to the "institutions", which in the case of the Atlas - Knežević affair experienced total compromise and lost the little remaining legitimacy and credibility," said Martinović.
He adds that Telekom, Listing, failed guarantees in the case of KAP, Limenka, Snimak, accusations of Pinjatić, Domen .me, donations from Konik, Carine, Delta, Duvanski, Bazar, Verige, Marović, Mugoš... just scratched the surface "which is so clearly exposed to us through this latest affair".
"It is clear to us why the DPS is silent regarding the most serious accusations that they received lucrative donations beyond the legal norms and still covered it up. And what else would they say? They even gave up on those phantasmagoric announcements that consisted of incredible language stunts , all of which aimed to defend the indefensible, in which they themselves did not believe for a single moment. But, let's see: why are these famous "our" institutions silent? It makes sense, doesn't it? Silent DPS - silent DPS institutions. If and when they speak, it is always and will always be according to the dictates of the DPS and as much as it is in the interest of this, now it can be said freely, criminal party. An even more significant question arises: if they missed the donations to DPS from the owners of the bank, the university and the media, and those about which Pinjatić spoke, what else can be assumed in the case of donations from privileged "businessmen" or "good guys" as he said the former president of the Municipality of Pljevlja from the DPS? Thanks to these "institutions", everyone in Montenegro and outside, at least one thing is crystal clear: crime from which the DPS has a sure source of income is allowed, moreover desirable, in Montenegro," said Martinović.
He adds that "religious institutions" have taken off the facade and that "masks have fallen".
"The public's trust in them has been completely destroyed. And it is clear to the last unfaithful Tom that they serve as a tile in the false and fraudulent mosaic of the so-called democratic order. They have shown that they are "competent" only for what cannot threaten the DPS or when , for the sake of the DPS and the possible minor political benefits of this party, it is necessary to cause political damage to someone else. So they received strikes for prosecuting councilors who are two days late to submit a report on income and assets, and now they are silent and shameless after the disclosure that DPS collected "donations" of large amounts in violation of the law. If they had even a grain of dignity, the heads of these institutions would have submitted their irrevocable resignations after this scandalous affair, at the very least. lowered the level of expectations from them. We are so used to them resigning only when their boss tells them, and that blankly, that we would be surprised if they wag their tails this time."
Martinović states that the only option for Montenegrin society is a comprehensive electoral reform that would eliminate criminal financing of political campaigns.
"That is another reason for certain opposition entities that have an agreement with the DPS on further expansion and cosmetic reform to terminate it and thus prevent the continuation of the farce and omnipresent larceny on the Montenegrin political and social scene," concluded Martinović.
