The Democratic Front protests are another unsuccessful project of that political group, according to the Bosnian Party (BS).
BS stated that the consequences of the protest are felt by the citizens, through the significantly weakened central traffic network of Podgorica.
"It is an indisputable democratic right to express one's political beliefs, even through such a form, but with their political messages and iconography, the protests do not have a civic character, as announced by their organizers," the announcement states.
In BS, they believe that chauvinist shouts and chants cannot be considered as a civic commitment, but as remnants of the past, as well as the "obvious captivity" of certain political subjects of the DF in that ideology.
"Attacks on Bosniak features and calls of hatred by protest participants, to whom even Turks appear in the surrounding state institutions, clearly show that DF supporters do not want Bosniak features among themselves, nor Bosniaks as a people in their ranks. In this regard, nothing new and nothing surprising from the majority of political subjects in that grouping. However, we are very surprised and concerned by the messages coming from high political addresses that inherit the idea of a civic and multinational Montenegro, who see in these protests "civic character and vital democratic processes". It's surprising that they are so confused, so they recognize civil commitment in the epic-mythomaniac rhetoric, nationalist iconography and offensive messages from the protest," according to BS.
The ultimate goal of the protest, from the point of view of the Bosniak Party, is to cause instability that would call into question the invitation to join the NATO alliance.
In BS, they believe that this is precisely why the support of citizens and the general public for NATO integration is growing.
