The Montenegrin Democratic Union (Cdu) does not intend to cooperate with the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the Liberal Party, announced the president of the Budva committee of that party, Miodrag Čučka.
"Since there have been some speculations in the public about possible coalitions in Budva, we want to make it clear that Cdu has no intention of cooperating with Ranko Krivokapić's SDP and the disappearing Liberal Party. These are not our partners. It's a marginal coalition: Everything is the same, only He is not there," said Čučka.
According to him, what is much more important for the Cda, but also for all citizens of Budva: although the old-new local government in Budva claims that the situation in that municipality is regular and regular and that elections are not necessary, they must note that people employed in the city services and public enterprises have not received their personal income for three months.
"Cdu believes that our city and municipality need an urgent rehabilitation program. This is the interest of all citizens, regardless of which party they belong to, who they voted for and whether they voted at all," Čučka announced.
As he said, one of the key items of the Sanitation Program is the collection of all receivables that the Municipality has.
"We are aware that certain advances have been made in the collection of claims from small debtors. But, it is obvious that this activity, along with the regular revenues of the Municipality, does not even remotely ensure the payment of the regular obligations of the local administration. A three-month delay in the payment of personal income would be an alarm, even if there were no accumulated problems in Budva, which we all know about," said Čučka.
What represents a big problem, he added, is the collection of claims from large debtors. "These are huge sums. The local government and the new ad hoc coalition must urgently find a way to regulate this unsustainable situation. If it is not able to do so, the local government itself must appeal to have its mandate shortened and to start elections".
"Cdu presents these views with the desire to find a solution to the existing chaotic situation in Budva. Moral, political, financial and developmental renewal of our Budva is needed. The best means of doing this is new elections. Everything else is a waste of time and means the further deterioration of Budva," said Čučka.
