The signing of the Declaration on the establishment of a regional center for youth cooperation in the Western Balkans is a positive step towards building stability and long-term peace in the region, according to the Bosniak Party's (BS) Youth Forum.
The BS Youth Forum welcomed the signing of the Declaration on the Improvement of Regional Youth Cooperation in the Countries of the Former Yugoslavia in Vienna, at the Summit on the Western Balkans.
The president of the BS Youth Forum, Sead Šahman, assessed that in today's time, when the influence of globalization is present in many ways in our society, with many advantages, but also disadvantages, it is necessary more than ever to conduct a dialogue, discuss and evaluate what are the common interests. and how to reduce eventual differences.
"Any incorporation of young people into regional flows represents the potential for future foundations that are tied to the process of true cooperation in the countries of the former Yugoslavia and the creation of better conditions for their mobility," he stated.
The BS Youth Forum believes that this act has taken a positive step towards building stability and long-term peace in our region. "It is necessary that young people have the strength to resist today's deviant phenomena and turn to promoting a true mosaic of civilization, composed of true social values."
"It is necessary to change the practice that alienates young people and creates prejudices among them. The multi-ethical and multicultural nature of the region should be an advantage and an aid to the achievement of goals, and not an obstacle," says the announcement of the BS Youth Forum.
Such a practice, Šahman stated, would help break down stereotypes and remove barriers between peoples living in the Balkans.
"We believe that this project and similar ones have no alternative, and that it is particularly important for future generations. Such commitment is the only guarantee that together, all the peoples in the countries of the Western Balkans, we can build our region, which is based on true values through which we are directed to each other", according to the BS Youth Forum.
