The President of the Bosniak Party (BS) and Deputy Prime Minister for Regional Development, Rafet Husović, confirmed the writing of "Vijesti" that the new Bosniak Party - the Social Democratic Party, the government in Rožaje, in the Municipality, public enterprises and institutions, employed significantly more people than it admits.

Last week, Husović said at the "Development Perspectives of Rožaj" round table that they hired close to 300 new workers.

The same information was presented by "Vijesti" a few months ago, but the President of the Municipality, Ejup Nurković, tried to deny those figures at a press conference held in July. He then said that the numbers "reported by certain media" were incorrect, and that the new government had received 56 workers since the beginning of its mandate, of which 20 were officials.

Husović criticized the new government for being ineffective with so many new hires.

"You have a lot of employees in the local administration, and I think that thirty employees would be enough for you if you consider that you are just a service for citizens. With such a large number of employees, you should have worked more efficiently, bravely and decisively when it comes to the development of Rožaj," said Husović.

Despite the large number of new recruits, he believes that human potential is lacking, because local government is not only a service for citizens, but must create conditions for a better life.

"We have natural potential, but I'm afraid you don't have human potential. There are smarts in the environment, find experts who can start these segments. If we delay the projects, I am afraid that even the few interested investors will give up investing in Rožaje and go to neighboring municipalities," Husović said.

He expressed his fear that by working in the current way, the Rožaj management will drive away potential investors, because in the previous period, what was supposed to have not been completed.

"You must not drop some promises from donors, such as the construction of a kindergarten worth around one million euros. "Tika" promised annual subsidies in the form of donations of almost one million euros for agriculture, and that they would buy and donate agricultural products to citizens, but nothing has come of it yet. We also dropped the promise to arrange the city park, which was promised by the Municipality of Zeytinbur from Turkey.

The President of Ankara promised the reconstruction of the Municipality building, but I am not sure that the President of Rožaja contacted him and invited him as a guest," warned Husović.
