"The Bosniak party is trampling on its pre-election promises, by firing workers in the local administration and further impoverishing the Rožaj municipality, and in contrast to BS officials who receive bonuses, premiums and gifts for not working, the citizens of Rožaj are getting poorer every day", stated today Husein Ljaić, the president of the Municipal board of URA Rožaje.
He was reacting after the scandalous decision of BS, adopted at yesterday's Assembly of that city, to fire 25% of the workers in the local administration by the end of the year.
"After the scams and deceptions that they did to mothers with allowances after the parliamentary elections when they voted for their abolition in the state parliament, they are now turning their backs on those they blackmailed to vote for them in the local elections. In their pre-election promises, they asked for voting loyalty and activity of local government employees in order to save their jobs, and today they are firing them," says Ljaić.
He accuses the BS in Rožaje of driving away investors and wasting municipal money, which has brought Rožaje into the worst economic situation so far.
"They continue to destroy the already destroyed Rožaje, from which every day more and more people emigrate to the countries of Western Europe," Ljaić said.
He said that the URA in Rožaj will help dissatisfied workers of the local administration, but also all citizens of Rožaj.
"URA will provide support to all dissatisfied citizens of Rožaj to persevere in their demands and that the basic right of every person is respected, and will do everything it can to completely expose the rule of those who line their own pockets by cheating their fellow citizens and leaving them without work and prospects for street", concluded Ljaić
