She added that even when these people created their own states and established borders between them, not much changed.
"Cooperation has remained the driving force behind the progress of states in their mutual relations. And only today, in a world where everything is connected, intertwined, in a world where the boundaries of space and time are practically overcome, joint action is necessary in order to achieve success. "We are convinced that the policy of peace, stability, cooperation in all areas, both with the countries in the region and with all the countries in the world, is the only policy that can bring prosperity. Foreign policy in the modern conditions of dynamic development of international relations really has a prominent place. in a way, our foreign policy gives the world an image of our reality, our goals and interests. And in order for these goals and interests to be realized for the benefit of the whole of Montenegro, foreign policy should not be created and led by people who have been depriving the state and citizens of the best personnel who could only bring progress for decades, because it is difficult for them to get up from the armchairs in which they are they settled comfortably," Peković said.
The spokeswoman for the Democrats said that ibearing in mind that, regardless of the proclaimed goals of foreign policy, the progress of her party in that area is insignificant, it can be concluded that foreign policy is not an exception in the overall policy of the current government, which has not shown that it takes into account the interests of the people, but rather pass narrow, personal interests.
"Democratic Montenegro, in its program, among other things, emphasizes a genuine advocacy for the faster integration of Montenegro into the European Union, which will certainly contribute to faster democratization, and thus to the overall development of Montenegrin society.
