Bosniak Party President Rafet Husović sent congratulations to all citizens of Montenegro in the country and in the diaspora on the occasion of May 21, Independence Day.
"The Bosniak party will continue to strongly support the progress of Montenegro and its institutions, strive for a stable and democratic society based on multi-ethnic and multi-religious harmony and respect for diversity, as well as strive to accelerate the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of our country," Husović said.
"The Bosniak people, along with other minority peoples in Montenegro, made an indisputable contribution during the referendum process, which was crowned on May 21, 2006, in a democratic referendum. We stand for respect for the rights of minority peoples along with the economic recovery of underdeveloped areas so that people stay in their homelands, expecting that in the coming period, the institutions of the rule of law will be strengthened and legal regulations respected," Husović concluded.
