The Municipal Assembly of the Bosniak Party in Bar elected a new municipal committee with 35 members, the party announced.
OO President Munib Ličina said that the Bosniak Party in Bar was established as a political entity through nine years of work, and that through its independent performances it became an authentic representative of the Bosniak-Muslim people in Bar.
"In the past period, we increased our membership many times over, strengthened the Youth Forum and the Women's Forum. BS stuck to its program, we never made unrealistic promises. Our compatriots in Bar recognize that we will - honestly, realistically and consistently - represent our people and their interests, through advocacy for equality, representation, better living standards and education of young people," Ličina said.
The president of the Bosniak party, Rafet Husović, said that this party is getting stronger and more organized through each election cycle, that its influence in the institutions is increasing, that it has the legitimacy of the original representative of the Bosniak people and that it contributes to political stability in Montenegro through a partnership in the government.
"We have significantly expanded our party network in all parts of Montenegro where members of the Bosniak-Muslim nation live. BS is recognized as a serious political entity, we have more and more support, especially among young people, and I am sure that, by preserving unity, our strength will to be much bigger after the upcoming Congress," Husović said
