The meeting of the Board of Directors of the Rozaj Center for Social Work, at which the new director of that institution should be elected, will be held by the end of March.
"Vijesti" previously disclosed the annex to the contract signed on November 28 last year by the political director of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Tarzan Milošević, and the vice-president of the Bosniak Party, Osman Nurković. Based on that document, DPS is obliged to provide BS with the position of director of the Center for Social Work in one of the 11 municipalities, including Rožaje. The "Vijesti" source from the top of the BS said that they insisted that it be Rožaje, and that the DPS agreed.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare told "Vijesti" that they will look for the best solution during the selection process, and that it has nothing to do with political involvement.
"The Board of Directors has not yet decided on the election of the director of CSR Rožaja. The Minister of Labor and Social Welfare approves the decision on the selection of a candidate, for whom a person will be chosen who meets the requirements prescribed by law and who will perform that function in the best way, regardless of her political affiliation," said the Ministry's PR service.
One of the candidates for that position, Kadrija Agović, member of the GO BS and secretary of the Secretariat for Finance, told the media earlier that "knowing the position of the Supervisory Board, as well as the consent of the relevant Ministry, he expects to be elected" to the position of director.
The Ministry neither confirmed nor denied that Agović had already attended a meeting with Minister Predrag Bošković, where he was allegedly promised a position. The coalition commitments of DPS and BS have already resulted in the employment of the daughter of the President of the Municipality, Ejup Nurković, in the Center for Social Work. Between two candidates, none of whom met the requirements, she was chosen, so the "injured" filed a lawsuit.
