At today's meeting, the Government accepted the DPS proposal that the National Security Agency (NSA) officials who turn 30 on April 50 and have 25 years of service, of which at least 15 years are benefited, will retire on May 1 at the latest. years.
The government also accepted an amendment to the Law on ANB, according to which ANB employees whose employment relationship ends on May 1 at their personal request have the right to an old-age pension if they have reached the age of 30 by April 50, with 20 years of service, of which at least 10 benefited.
The Government's explanation states that by accepting this amendment, "additional conditions are created for the restoration and improvement of human resources in the Agency, and further implementation of reforms of this institution in the process of Euro-Atlantic integration".
At today's session, the Government also accepted the proposal of the DPS that the Director of the Agency can, for reasons of protecting the interests of national security, temporarily suspend or prohibit the Inspector General from carrying out inspections if this would seriously threaten the successful implementation of the Agency's ongoing activities, which are of particular importance for national security.
The government also adopted the proposal that the inspector general submits an annual report on the performed control to the director of ANB as well as to the Committee for Security and Defense.
