In the premises of "Biram Bar" (BB), the leaders of this member of the ruling coalition in Bar and the group of voters "Shule i Mikan with citizens for Kolašin" met yesterday.
Emphasizing that it is a continuation of the meeting of the BB with voter groups and parties that prioritize local politics, the BB announced after the meeting that this meeting is the beginning of "long-term cooperation for the benefit of the citizens of Kolašin and Bar, and therefore of Montenegro." , and that Bar and Kolašin "can and must achieve better cooperation" in the fields of sports and culture.
According to the same statements, in front of the guests, the president of the SO Kolašin, Milan Đukić, said in the introduction that it is the oldest group of citizens that has been actively active in Montenegro - as many as 12 years, and that during that period they were both the position and the opposition.
"Kolašin, like Bar, has a high civic consciousness. Aware of this, we have always been those who advocated for reconciliation, for calming passions at the local level. Citizen groups represent a modern European political and organizational model. They are the closest to citizens and their interests because they are not burdened by a centralized partitocratic model of functioning. The same thing that BB does in his city. Communal problems and the needs of the citizens of Kolašin have always been more important to us than high politics, we have proven this for years in Kolašin, and I am extremely glad that the voters recognized this form as well in Bar, when 2600 of them expressed their trust in BB," Đukić said at the meeting.
BB President Radomir Novaković Cakan thanked the guests for accepting the invitation and said that such meetings are necessary for Montenegro, "to talk amicably about what unites us, and not to argue about what divides us, to lend a hand to each other - and not to put a foot down".
"How important it is to listen to the citizens, and not to work against their will, is shown by today's cypress cutting in Bar. Instead of sitting down and coming to an agreement - something continues against which more than 4.000 Barans and Baranki signed a petition. BB does not change its stance "We are still against such work, which we proved by voting for the Citizens' Initiative at the session of the SO Bar," said Novaković.
In the BB party announcement, it is stated that Novaković explained his short-term absence from public life with an operation, and that he returned at the right time, before an important meeting of the Council of Ministers.
"We are not like others who forget their promises after the campaign, the price of legalization is still the number 1 topic for us in the Bar. Our performance at the parliamentary session will be aimed at protecting citizens and keeping our promise made during the election campaign. It is the same with Maljevik. In our daily meetings, citizens constantly tell us about the opening of new jobs. This is an investment that is important for all of us," added Novaković.
In addition to him, BB representatives were secretary Ljubiša Tadić, councilors in SO Stevo Novaković and Irina Dabović, and member of the Board of Directors of DOO Vodovod i kanalizacija Bar Ljubomir Vukoslavčević. In the Kolašin delegation, in addition to Đukić, there were councilor in the SO Nemanja Bulatović and lawyers Mladen Šuković and Božidar Pižurica.
