The invitation to Kosovo's head of diplomacy, Hashim Thaci, to visit Montenegro is an act of calculated toleration of his criminal-terrorist past for the sake of daily politics, as reported by the Association of War Veterans of Montenegro since 1990.
The Association invited the membership to join the protest, which is being organized by the Union of Associations of Displaced Persons in Montenegro on Friday in front of Villa "Gorica" due to the arrival of Tači on an official visit to Montenegro.
"Hashim Thaçi was and remains an undesirable person for the Association, who is under investigation by the European Union due to trafficking in human organs, and the fact that Thaçi is still in high politics, instead of in prison, unfortunately witnesses the duration of the policy of double standards of the international community and when in the matter of terrorism," says the Association's press release.
According to them, during the armed conflicts in Kosovo and Metohija in 1998/1999. 33 members of the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from Montenegro were killed, "26 of whom were killed by the KLA led by Thaci in classic terrorist attacks."
"We remind you of the terror, crimes and persecution of members of the Serbian, Montenegrin and other non-Albanian communities during and immediately after the end of the armed conflicts in Kosovo and Metohija, during which 44 Montenegrin citizens disappeared," the statement added.
In memory of fallen comrades and condemnation of unprovoked terrorism, ethnic cleansing and cover-up of war and post-war crimes by Albanians in Kosovo and Metohija, they invited the membership to join the protest due to Thaci's official visit to Montenegro.
As stated, on the same day, representatives of the Association will attend the requiem liturgy and the memory of the victims, which will be served by the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral Amfilohije with the clergy in the Church of St. George in Podgorica.
"The association will never, at any cost, back down in the face of terror, injustice, lies and attempts at subjugation, no matter what force is behind it, because in doing so they would betray universal human values, their fallen comrades, and Njegoš's port, which was bequeathed to us by our libertarian ancestors. ", the announcement concludes.
