At today's gathering on the occasion of the end of the working year 2014 in the Aldi restaurant, the President of the Municipality of Rožaje Ejup Nurković and the management of the municipality, the advisor to the President of Montenegro Amer Halilović, the President of the Assembly of the Municipality of Rožaje Husein Kurtagić, councilors of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the Bosniak Party (BS) attended To the Rožaje Municipality Assembly, directors and officials of the local self-government.
According to the President of the Municipality Ejup Nurković, in the coming year the local self-government will work at full capacity in all fields in order to ensure the prosperity of citizens and progress in the field of economy.
In his speech, the SDP MP in the Parliament of Montenegro, Izet Bralić, expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation with the coalition partner, the Bosniak Party, and expects that in the future there will be even more intense cooperation for the benefit of the citizens.
"I am satisfied with the activities in the first 6 months of the government of the coalition of BS and SDP, and I would especially like to highlight the completion of works on the water supply system of the municipality of Rožaje, the arrangement of the stadium on Banžova brdo, the cleaning of the "tear of the north" of the river Ibar; Rožaje will finally, after 20 years of waiting, have a ski resort etc. We expect in the coming period the revival of the economy, the valorization of the area of the Upper Ibar and the improvement of the work of the local self-government to the general satisfaction. I am certainly satisfied with the cooperation of the Municipality of Rožaje with the state authorities, with a joint effort we have secured for our municipality 300.000,00 euros for the ski resort and maintenance…I would like to use this opportunity to congratulate the citizens on the holidays in the hope that they will spend them in health and prosperity," said MP Bralić.
In his address, MP Almer Kalač expressed the observation that a certain shift in the work of local self-government has been made, but also the expectation that in the coming year even more work will be done for the benefit of the citizens.
He expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation with the coalition partner SDP, both at the local and national level, and wished happy holidays to all those celebrating.
President of Rožaje Municipal Council Husein Kurtagić expects more jobs and a better life for the citizens of Rožaje.
"The Assembly of the Municipality of Rožaje has adopted over 500 acts since its constitution, and 6 regular sessions of the Assembly of the Municipality of Rožaje have been held so far. We are satisfied with the coalition at the local level and within the legislative framework. We certainly expect the opening of new jobs and the creation of a better life for citizens," Kurtagić said in between.
