The new president of the Municipality of Rožaje will be Ejup Jupo Nurković, a member of the presidency of the Bosniak Party (BS), it was decided today at the Municipal Committee (OO) of that party.
Nurković received the majority of OO votes, so the opponents Muamer Kujević and Ervin Ibrahimović, the Montenegrin consul in Frankfurt, had almost no chance.
The official appointment of the new president is expected next week at the session of the Municipal Assembly.
The new government in Rožaje will be created by BS, which won 17 out of 34 council seats.
A few days ago, they signed a post-election coalition with the SDP, which received six positions based on that agreement.
