Acting on the report of the MEC, Rožaj police intervened in the town of Biševo, where a fight broke out between members of the DPS and BS, more than 100 meters from the polling station.
Kemal Redžović (BS) suffered head injuries in the incident, while the other actors of the fight Mehović Edin, Edip and Kenan (DPS) fled the scene and the police are looking for them.
Eyewitnesses (BS members) claim otherwise. They point out that Kemal Redžović and Ferid Ahmatović (BS) were attacked by DPS BM and ST activists
"When Ahmatović and Redžović started running towards the school, BM and ST caught up with them and knocked down Redžović, who was helped by a dozen locals who prevented Redžović from being beaten further," said BS activists.
According to them, the president of the BS Local Board, Salko Tahirović, arrived at the scene at the invitation of the locals, who was allegedly sprayed with "shock spray" by the ST.
"At the same time, Mehović's family arrived at the scene of the incident and brandished a gun in front of the gathered group," claim BS activists.
According to information from the police, these allegations are not known to them.
"We act on all official reports, of which there are quite a few, so we don't have time to deal with speculation," said the police.
The police intervened in ten places
The Rožaj police, at the invitation of the Municipal Election Commission (MEC), intervened at ten polling stations located in the Gymnasium "13. September", Vocational Secondary School, Primary Schools "30. maj" and "Mustafa Pećanin" and "Seošnica".
Dozens of citizens gathered around city schools, according to information from the MEC, prevented voters from accessing polling stations and put pressure on their will. In Seošnica, one voter refused to leave the polling station after his ballot was canceled after the public vote.
"Vijesti" was told by the Podgorica police that the information that an intervention unit from Podgorica was sent to Rožaje was not correct.
Reliable sources of "Vijesti" claimed earlier that the intervention unit from Podgorica went to Rožaje "because the election process got out of control, and the situation, especially during the evening hours, could culminate".
The Rožaj police neither wanted to confirm nor deny that information.
"We can't tell you that. We are doing everything according to the pre-made plan and program and assessment of the situation on the ground," said the police.
The Democratic Party of Socialists reported a mass gathering of citizens around the polling stations in the early hours of the morning. Then the Social Democratic Party did the same, and after the intervention of the police, the Bosniak Party, for which the DPS and SDP claim that their activists are obstructing the elections.
A large number of members of several parties exert pressure
Several irregularities were reported to the Rožaj Election Commission by 11 a.m., which mainly refer to polling stations in the Gymnasium "30. September" and Vocational High School, and primary schools "25. maj" and "Mustafa Pećanin".
According to the President of the Municipal Election Commission (MEC) Rafet Hajdarpašić, there are a large number of voters and members of different political parties in front of those schools who exert various pressures on voters.
"Objections were submitted by DPS, SDP, the Bosniak Party and commissions from polling stations. "We have the biggest problem near the polling stations in secondary schools, where at one point there were between 50 and 70 citizens who prevented normal access to the polling stations, put pressure on the voters and directly affected the regularity of the election process," said Hajdarpašić, who added that The MEC examines the justification of the complaint.
The municipal board of the DPS asked the MEC to suspend the election process in polling stations number 31 and 32 (Gymnasium "30 September"), 3, 39, 41 and 43 (Secondary Vocational School) and in stations number 4, 33, 34 and 42 (Primary School "25 May").
Dozens of activists of the Bosniak Party were observed in those places from nine o'clock in the morning exerting enormous pressure on voters, which was reported to the MEC with a complaint, which requested the intervention of the police.
The OO DPS asked the MEC to urgently provide adequate conditions "for the expression of the free will of citizens", and if this does not happen, they announced that they will call on DPS voters to withdraw from the election process and consider the elections illegitimate.
At the polling station in Seošnica, one voter voted publicly, which is why his vote was cancelled. Outraged by such a decision, he did not want to leave the polling station and hand in the ballot, which is why voting at that station was suspended until the irregularities were eliminated.
"Voting at that place will be extended as long as the interruption lasts," said Hajdarpašić.
The MEC also informed the Security Department about the irregularities, which intervened.
MANS announced on their Facebook profile that their observers reported that in Rožaje, in the immediate vicinity of the Gymnasium and at polling stations 39, 41, and 43, there is a suspicion that DPS activists are keeping voter records and buying ID cards.
