All municipal presidents in Montenegro have a good salary and a luxury official car in common.
Even though the government has long ordered the tightening of the belts on the bar, for now there are not many concrete steps in that direction, and the mayor's offices are often made up of several advisors, and most of them also have professional services, some of which have several dozen employees.
It is rightly suspected that these places are used to recruit party cadres. A good example is the municipality of Bar, where Zarija Franović (DPS), a former deputy and regretted director of the Railway Infrastructure, ended up as a councillor. And all this is paid for by taxpayers.
