Deputy Prime Minister for Regional Development and President of the Bosniak Party, Rafet Husović, will be the leader of that party's list in the local elections in Rožaje, it was confirmed to "Vijesta" from the Rožaje committee of that party, which yesterday determined the list of candidates for councilors.
Although one of the options for the holder was the Montenegrin consul in Frankfurt, Ervin Ibrahimović, who, as a source from BS claims, wants to continue his diplomatic career.
BS is a fierce rival of DPS in Rožaje led by Nusret Kalač. A source from BS said that they do not rule out a post-election coalition with the SDP, if they do not win absolute power in Rožaje.
A source from the top of BS told "Vijesta" that if BS wins the local elections in Rožaje, Husović will remain in office in the government and will not be mayor.
Husović previously told "Vijesta" that relations with the Rozaj BS committee are good and that there were no conflicts over the candidate for mayor.
Husović was the holder of the BS list in the last local elections held in 2010, when DPS won in that city.
