The Liberal Party of Budva set an ultimatum to the coalition partner DPS, as well as the SDP, with which it participates in the local government, that they must do several things in the next two months, i.e. start or finish some priority projects, or they will leave the government.
During the last local elections, the Liberals concluded a coalition agreement with the DPS, while the SDP participates in the same government.
One councilor from the Liberal Party prevailed and brought power to that coalition, which now has 17 out of a total of 32 councilor mandates. The exit of the Liberals would, therefore, lead to new local elections in the metropolis of tourism.

He stated that the party strictly demands that further payments to the companies hired by the Municipality of Budva for the execution of works on various projects in the previous period be suspended, and that the contracts that cause damage to the Municipality of Budva be terminated.
"The reason for this is that we doubt the amount of the agreed price and the quality of the work performed, and we also believe that by paying these companies we are causing enormous damage to the Municipality. We demand that the Municipality of Budva urgently engages experts based on whose expert report our doubts will be determined, and all for the purpose and for the well-being of our municipality", stated Radjenović.
