Stanić: The customs service, DB and DPS were involved in the Nova split in Pljevlja

Yesterday, the president of the NSD Municipal Board in Pljevlja, Novica Stanić, who resigned from that position after being outvoted during the decision on the voting method for the candidate for the DF list holder, claims that individuals from the DPS Municipal Board are involved in the split within Nova in Pljevlja. , State Security and Customs Services.

"Vice President of the Municipal Board of Nova Milan Lekić could not have done it himself without the support of the customs service, DB and individuals from the Municipal Board of DPS in Pljevlja," Stanić told Vijest, not wanting to comment on his claims in detail, because, as he said, , the people of Pljevlja know all that very well.

Stanić expects that the top of the party will side with Lekić and does not rule out the possibility of him being removed from NSD.

"I expect the decision of the top of the party to be in the spirit of the previous activities, because what happened in the Municipal Committee could not have been done without the knowledge and help of some leading people in the party," said Stanić.

When asked by Vijesta whether he will remain in the Democratic Front if he is excluded from the New Serbian Democracy, Stanić said that he did not know because he had not thought about it, but he reiterated that he remains firmly committed to his oppositional views.

He said that there are three variants of his further political activity, but he did not want to explain it in more detail.

"Be patient, everything will be clear soon," said Stanić.

Stanić also denied claims that could be heard in Pljevlja in recent days that he received an offer from the SNP to join that party.

He reproached the journalists for stating that there were party employees in the municipal companies Vodovod and Grijanje, although he does not dispute that this could be inferred from his statement.

"I wasn't thinking about party employment, because in that case I, as the chairman of the Municipal Board, would have known that, but about family and friendly employment," said Stanić.

When asked by Vijesta whether someone was employed at Vodovod at his request, Stanić said that "it was at the beginning", probably referring to the beginning of Milan Lekić's management at Vodovod.

He could not say how many people got employment on that basis.

At the end of the press conference, Stanić said that "almost half of the Municipal Board is employed or one of the family members is employed in the mentioned companies".
