The State Election Commission (SEC) reminded political parties that they are obliged to, by the end of January, make a decision on the amount of membership fees for this year and submit it to the Commission.
As announced by the SEC, parties are required to make a decision based on the Law on Financing Political Parties.
"Political parties that do not plan membership fees as a source of funding for this year, are obliged to inform the Commission about this within the stipulated period", announced the president of the SEC, Ivan Kalezić.
Non-compliance with the Law on the Financing of Political Parties, he stated, entails misdemeanor liability.
