Minister of Defense Predrag Bošković said that the surplus of outdated NATO weapons will not be disposed of in Sinjajevina, but a training ground will be built for the Army of Montenegro. Responding to Milun Zogović's (DF) allegations that waste will be dumped on that mountain, Bošković said that the ministry and the Property Administration analyzed locations that would be suitable for the construction of a training ground for the Army of Montenegro.
"The army should have a training ground somewhere in Montenegro where it can practice. A location has been set aside in Sinjajevina that can satisfy the needs of the training ground. This location would be used exclusively for training the army, since there is no location that would be used for those purposes. The test site will only be used for a few days when the local population is not staying in the surrounding katuns," said Bošković at the parliamentary session devoted to parliamentary issues, stating that there are no plans to build facilities for the destruction of NATO weapons in Montenegro.
Bošković repeated that by sending soldiers to the KFOR mission, Montenegro did not betray Serbia, stressing that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that this mission is a guarantor of the stability of the Serbs in Kosovo.
"The fact that we are sending two officers makes no difference compared to the other 31 nations that are now present in Kosovo, so I have not seen Belgrade's reaction to those countries," he said.
Responding to a question from DF MP Milan Knežević, Deputy Prime Minister Zoran Pažin said that DF representatives threaten state institutions.
"When you were serving your sentence in Spuž, you were not as rude as you are now in the parliament.
You were one of the most decent convicts there," he said, to which Knežević said that "there are better people there than representatives of the government and that he no longer has the strength to go to Spuž voluntarily."
Pažin said that the prosecution launched an investigation against Nebojša Medojević "because of a false report", stating that he does not know what will happen next with that case.
In response to Predrag Bulatović's remark that SDT Milivoje Katnić is persecuting Front officials, Pažin said that the Government did not meet to discuss whether Katnić rose above the Constitution.
"I think it is a matter of concern because the state prosecutor was threatened and physically threatened by criminal gangs," Pažin said.
