Extraordinary local elections would be the right way for the Municipality of Ulcinj and its citizens to get out of a difficult situation, according to the Municipal Committee of the Socialist People's Party (OO SNP).
Bankruptcy was introduced in the Municipality of Ulcinj, SNP officials announced and stated that on June 11, the President of the Municipality of Ulcinj, Nazif Cungu, signed a Rehabilitation Plan for that Municipality with the Government, which, according to them, entails significant layoffs of employees in the local administration and its public enterprises.
"According to some information, the number of employees who need to be fired is over 150, and the Sanitation Plan foresees a significant reduction in wages for those who manage to keep their jobs," announced OO SNP Ulcinj.
In the Municipality of Ulcinj, the announcement adds, the average salary is the lowest in the country, so, SNP claims, it is certain that even those who are lucky enough to stay at work will not be able to "make ends meet" from their earnings.
The SNP states that "after the announced job cuts" there was an escalation of intolerance within the authorities in Ulcinj.
"Those who until yesterday said that their time of "kingdom" had come, began to understand, even though the SNP warned them, that "the king is gone", which is a consequence not only of their irresponsible, unprofessional, frivolous and unprofessional work," he adds. in the announcement.
OO SNP Ulcinj points out that after such behavior of the local authorities, it has reached a position where, as they stated, the most prosperous city in Montenegro is barely surviving.

From OO SNP Ulcinj stated that the biggest responsibility of the citizens is "that they agreed to be continuously manipulated by one and the same profile of people".
"Responsibility is one thing, and guilt is much more than that. Now, those whose guilt is unquestionable, instead of finding themselves in the line where responsibility is determined, are trying to win the best possible position for the position of bankruptcy administrator," the SNP stated.
The SNP from Ulcinj said that every bankruptcy procedure in the past few decades ended with liquidation, that is, as they stated, with privatization in which privileged individuals make huge profits at the expense of those who created it all through decades of work".
"Negotiations about the "spoils distribution" and agreements at the level of market negotiations are leading in that direction. That is why OO SNP Ulcinj proposes to call for extraordinary local elections and thus enable the citizens to decide who will implement the bankruptcy in Ulcinj", they said from SNP.
