The member of the Democrats in the Parliament of Montenegro Zdenka Popović obviously has a problem with the truth, but also with double standards, so she applies one in the municipalities where she exercises power and the other in Podgorica, according to the reaction of the DPS Committee of the Capital City.
They reacted to Popović's statement that he would services of the Capital City to complete the work of several years in a few months.
"That's why he presents a series of untruths against the employees of the Secretariat for Planning and Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection of the Capital City, but does not comment on the same situation, for example, in Herceg Novi? When he talks about the prices of legalization, are he referring to the fees in the municipalities where they were determined by the Democrats and which are among the most expensive in Montenegro? For the sake of the public, we repeat once again, all the capacities in the Secretariat for Planning and Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection of the Capital City are maximally dedicated to this work. Employees also work after working hours, on weekends and on holidays. That is why It is more than incorrect that Popović calls them names in the media, and that neither as a member of the Assembly of Montenegro, where the law was adopted, nor in the Assembly of the Capital City, where decisions on the amount of compensation were made, was she ever interested in this issue, not even in plenary sessions nor in the relevant committees. The only thing Popović did was to properly receive her salary as a member of parliament and compensation as a member of the council," the response states.
They reminded that requests for legalization are received at the counter of the Secretariat for Planning and Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection, which is located on Nezavisnosti Square and in the Secretariat's premises - Vuka Karadžića Street number 41.
"The Secretariat for Planning and Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection took a responsible and organized approach to receiving requests and started providing information to parties interested in legalization. This is confirmed by the fact that from July 1 to 12, 4.572 requests were received and filed, and a total of from the start of legalization to today, 6.200 requests. A job of this scope, certainly, could not have been carried out by one person, as stated by Popović. Therefore, this best speaks of how many people are working on this demanding process, and the dedication of all employees in this Secretariat Popović's assertions that only one person can do all of this are at odds with reality. But if it is known that Popović persistently repeated that they had an 8.000-vote advantage in the elections in Podgorica, then it clearly shows that in addition to having a problem with the truth, MP Popović it also has numbers. That's why we are telling her to pull herself together, so that she doesn't repeat such mistakes again," concludes the reaction of the DPS Committee of the Capital City
