The Democratic Front (DF) will wait for the answers to the demands it sent to the Social Democratic Party (SDP), the Croatian Citizen Initiative (HGI), the Bosniak Party (BS) and Forca, after which it will make appropriate political moves.
DF functionary, Nebojša Medojević, told the MINA agency that DF, in coordination with other opposition parties, will make appropriate political decisions after the answers of the political structures to which they addressed the demands announced at the recently held protest.
"We are waiting for consultations in the SDP, because some high-ranking officials of that party had similar views when it comes to election theft and the political crisis in Montenegro," Medojević said.
He stated that DF will wait to see if SDP as a party is aware of, as he said, the development of the future political situation.
"They could be a key factor in contributing to the peaceful development of the situation by accepting that, together with the opposition representatives, they will work out a lax specialis that would enable a peaceful solution to the crisis," Medojević said.
When asked whether DF MPs will attend the session of the Assembly where the parliamentary investigation, lex specialis and demands from the protest will be discussed, Medojević said that in that political alliance they are waiting for answers from the mentioned political structures.
He added that the DF did not prepare the law because, as he stated, for that they need all the answers to the requests.
"If the SDP makes a decision to support the demands, then they should appoint their own lawyer who would participate with the opposition in writing the law that will have a majority in the parliament," Medojević said.
