The Vice-President of the Democrats, Vladimir Martinović, said that a detailed analysis of the financial reports of all companies owned or founded by Vladan Ivanović shows that he could not dispose of funds in the amount needed to build a house next to the villa in Gorica.
Ivanović is a friend of the President of Montenegro and DPS leader Milo Đukanović, in whose name, according to Atlas Group owner Duško Knežević, a luxury house of 2.000 square meters is named, "whose real owner is Đukanović."
Đukanović recently denied this, stating that the house is not his, even though the owner offered it to him for sale.
Martinović explained that the fact that Ivanović could not have enough money to build the villa "justifies Duško Knežević's claim that its real owner is Đukanović."
He announced at the press conference that Đukanović acquired over 20.000 square meters of valuable land in the town of Potkošljun in Budva, "with the possible sale of which, he would fulfill his wish to live the rest of his life in a villa in Gorica instead of in a cramped apartment of 177 square meters."
Martinović emphasized that the contract, which was concluded on February 20, 2017, shows that the company Global Montenegro, owned by Đukanović and his godfather Vuk Rajković, bought the mentioned land for slightly more than three million euros and paid for it within seven days from the conclusion of the contract.
"Đukanović owes the public an answer to the question of where he got the three million euros to buy the mentioned land, because it is still unknown today how his company provided the three million for the purchase of this land, if we know that only a year later, Hipo Alpe Adria Bank approved a loan of five million euros", said Martinović.
As he said, the loan was originally supposed to be repaid in 2009, but the deadline was extended for another two years.
He explained that from the financial reports and real estate sheets of Đukanović's company, it is not possible to conclude what happened to those five million, but it can be "that this loan has not been repaid even to this day".
"The question arises as to how Djukanović was granted a loan in the amount of almost double the value of this land on which the mortgage was registered, if we know that the value of the mortgage would have to be one to two times higher than the amount of the approved loan," said Martinović.
