The American Embassy welcomed the statements of Bečić, Abazović and Marković

The Embassy of the United States of America (USA) in Montenegro today welcomed the statements of the President of Democratic Montenegro Alekse Bečić, the President of the Civic Movement URA Dritan Abazović and the Prime Minister of Montenegro and Deputy President of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Duško Marković.

"We welcome the statements of Prime Minister Marković and the leader of the Democrats and the Citizens' Movement URA that they engage in a constructive dialogue in finding solutions to current political challenges, including reforms that will lead to an even more prosperous Euro-Atlantic future for all citizens of Montenegro," it says on the official Twitter profile of the US Embassy.

The leaders of the Democrats and the URA GP, Aleksa Bečić and Dritan Abazović, presented on Wednesday the Plan for overcoming the current political and institutional situation in Montenegro, which, they stated, will lead to the conditions for holding the first free and fair elections in the country.

The deputy president of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Duško Marković, said earlier today that the party is ready to work on the implementation of important issues for the integration process, through the establishment of a special working group within the parliament as the only place for such dialogue, Marković said.
