The Main Committee (GO) of the Bosniak Party (BS) in Rozaje adopted the recommendations of the presidency on the continuation of negotiations with the European Montenegro coalition on the formation of the Government.
The three-member negotiating team will consist of Osman Nurković, Suljo Mustafić and Orhan Šahmanović.
GO member BS Suljo Mustafić said that GO accepted in principle the draft of the platform on the principles of joint action with Forca and HGI concerning the resolution and advancement of minority peoples in Montenegro, as well as the improvement of the economic and social situation in the areas where minority peoples live.
"We will be guided by program principles that are very important and concern the strengthening of stability and cohesion within Montenegro, its multi-religious and multinational environment, further democratization of balanced and even regional development, then greater presence and greater employment of members of minority nations in institutions, fair restitution and a series of other important issues that are common to all minority peoples in Montenegro," Mustafić said.
He repeated that he expects a positive outcome of the negotiations, which will be "more intense after Kurban Bayram". Mustafić hopes that the Government will be formed in the next few weeks.
"Our goal is to form the parliamentary majority and the executive power as soon as possible in order to stabilize Montenegro. Our demands are not megalomaniacal or blackmailing. We only think that some issues important for the position and status of minority peoples should be solved systematically. We have not thought about functions, and we will do so soon. to be resolved when the negotiating teams sit down at the table," Mustafić said.
He added that in the negotiation process, they will also agree on whether they will ask that, apart from Petnjica, some other areas get the status of municipalities.
