DPS leader Milo Đukanović said that he did not need special courage to accept the invitation of Democratic Front leader Miodrag Lekić to a TV duel.
"They are trying to be brave by inviting me to hang out with them. As if it takes special courage to hang out with them. It is no longer a question of courage, but a question of self-respect," said Đukanović at the pre-election forum of the "European Montenegro" coalition in Nikšić.
He admitted that there were failures in his hometown, which is why he asked for another chance: "I know that among you there are angry and disappointed people and those who had higher expectations from us, and I know that many of you are right, but I know very well that the only guarantee for fulfilling all your ideas and expectations can only be given by the collation of European Montenegro".
Everyone blames Luksic
Current Prime Minister Igor Lukšić did not miss the chance to once again announce his views on independent media and the opposition: "If we had listened to our opponents, Montenegro would not have been in recession, it would have been in depression. That's why we should help that on October 14, that head that he speaks through several mouths, so DF, MANS, daily newspapers "Vijesti" and "Dan", remains depressed.
And to the alleged leader of positive Montenegro, since he is a biologist, I suggest a herbarium to him," Lukšić said.
According to the President of the Assembly, Ranko Krivokapić, "when you have dirty hands and an unclean conscience, you get jaundice, and yellow and red give orange".
"That orange is so healthy and positive, made to make Montenegro sick," said Krivokapić and added that the leader of Pozitivna Darko Pajović was "70. on the list for deputy of the ruling coalition and chanted to Milo Đukanović".
Just like all the previous pre-election rallies in Nikšić, this one also passed without a speech by Nebojša Radojičić, still the first man of Nikšić.
When asked by "Vijesti" why he did not speak at the meeting, Radojičić replied that it was his decision, not the party's, and that the future candidates for the post of Mayor should speak.
