After May 27 and the "convincing victory of the Democratic Party of Socialists, with its coalition partners, better days will finally come for Kolasin's sports clubs, athletes and the parents of athletes", that party claims.
As stated in the DPS announcement, the Kolasin sportsmen and sports clubs "will no longer be a symbol of the budgetary embarrassment organized in the past four years by the outgoing DF-SNP-SDP coalition with the support of the Democrats".
"During their rule, ten clubs, on an annual level, shared about 15 thousand euros, which the local government directed to Kolašina children in sports jerseys with the name Kolašina. The new local government headed by the DPS will significantly increase the budget for sports and will establish fair distribution criteria. In cooperation with the Property Administration, we will find a sustainable model for the use of the Sports Hall, which will be at the service of sports clubs," the dps statement reads.
Through cooperation with the Ministry of Sports, they promise from that party, they will come up with a model "that will enable sports clubs to abolish membership fees in their clubs".
"We will specifically finance professional work in clubs so that parents will be relieved of paying membership fees, which will help their family budgets but also increase the volume and quality of work in sports clubs," announced the Municipal Board (OO) DPS.
