The directive has arrived - Vukotić and Radonjić are back in the Council

The Administrative Committee, by the votes of the parliamentary majority, determined two candidates for membership in the Council of the Agency for Electronic Communications.

In addition to several engineers who, according to the general assessment from the previous board session, had excellent references, the party majority decided to propose to the plenum for appointment the previous members of the council - Milica Vukotić and Ana Radonjić.

The professional references of other candidates were in vain and the fact that the requirement of five years of experience in that field is not met, Vukotić passed smoothly in the first round of voting and received the necessary party majority.

"It will be interesting how those who voted that the said lady meets the experience requirement will explain it if one of the eliminated candidates files a lawsuit in court. Apart from the disastrous way it was carried out and by secret ballot, it is even more devastating that the parliament is breaking the laws it passes.

The Law states that the requirement is five years of experience, and the majority refers to the position of the professional service and accepts that someone has written about telecommunications as experience. It clearly shows how things work", says Koča Pavlović, board member and PzP MP.

For Velizar Kaluđerović, the fact that the board voted secretly on Friday is not a problem - he says that, technically, a public vote in a situation where two members are elected out of 11 is much more complicated.

"The quality of elections is a much more serious problem. It has been a long time since there has been a competition with more excellent candidates. Some of them had excellent biographies and references, but it's all for naught when the pariah's directive comes for who to vote for.

He was Radonjić's competitor in the second round of voting. In the end, the party majority ruled again. Radonjić received six votes, Tafa four and two ballots were invalid.

The party makes decisions, the legal procedure is a formality

In addition to Vukotić and Radonjić, electrical engineers Predrag Boljević, Mirko Brnović, Dejan Jovanović, Momčilo Kojović, Nikola Radunović, Srđan Čović and Žilbert Tafa, lawyer Igor Vujačić and economist Danijela Papić competed for two seats in the Council, which remained vacant four months ago.

Most of the engineers that "Vijesti" asked for a comment on the Board's decision said that they would wait for the Board's official notification with an explanation.

"I don't want to single out, but one of the candidates, Žilbert Tafa, is a PhD student in technical sciences and has a brilliant resume, and he can't pass, because the party has already decided who will be elected," says Kaluđerović.

Some are already thinking about suing the Administrative Court because, as they say, the Law was violated, because the professional references of the registered candidates were not evaluated, but only the names were voted on.

"I encourage excellent candidates to check the legal validity and quality of this election with the competent institutions," says Kaluđerović.

Board President Radivoje Nikčević on Monday did not allow "Vijesti" to get answers to questions about how Vukotić and Radonjić were chosen and by what references.

He first answered the phone around 14 pm, saying that he would be at the meeting by 16 pm. Later, he did not answer the calls and text messages of "Vijesti".

The election of the two missing members of the council has been delayed for months, because the government, according to unofficial information, does not want someone to "wander" into the Agency who could make the extravagance of this institution even more public.
