Leković Head of Mission in Brussels, Joličić-Kuliš in Berlin, Milić in Ljubljana

On Thursday, the government should propose the current ambassador to Poland, Ivan Leković, as the new head of the Mission to the EU in Brussels, while the head of the cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vera Joličić-Kuliš, is a candidate for the ambassadorship of Montenegro in Berlin, it was confirmed by the News in the Government.

Leković should be replaced in Warsaw by the director of the General Directorate for Bilateral Relations in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the former ambassador of Montenegro in Sarajevo, Ramiz Bašić. Bašić is going to familiar ground because he was the ambassador of the former state union in Warsaw.

Until now, the ambassador's position in Brussels was covered by Aleksandar Pejović, who was appointed by the government about two months ago as the chief negotiator of Montenegro with the EU, while the ambassador's position in Berlin is covered by Vladimir Radulović.

The former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Branko Perović, should be proposed as the ambassador of Montenegro to China, instead of Ljiljana Tošković.

Instead of Ambassador Ranko Milović, the Government should nominate Ivan Milić, director of the General Directorate for Consular Affairs and Diaspora, as the head of the diplomatic representation in Ljubljana.
