When you mention any city, in any country, you usually think of what the city center itself looks like. Why? Because the city center is the place from which life starts, the place where all citizens and all events gather, and the place that best represents the image of the city. Bearing all this in mind, it can be said that the local government in Pljevlja is not doing its job properly, because based on the image of our city center, foreigners, unfortunately, cannot conclude anything good about our municipality, which is rich in natural and economic potential. . In the last four years alone, Pljevlja has been turned into a city that is faced with poverty, unemployment, population outflow, environmental problems, and at the same time increased the prices of communal services and introduced new taxes and levies on citizens. All this unequivocally points to the unscrupulous, unprofessional and irresponsible behavior of the incompetent local government.

The city center, which has been neglected for decades, is in an extremely bad condition. In addition to the mandatory reconstruction of Kralja Petra Street, it is of crucial importance to connect Milo Peruničić Square with the central square, which is unused and invisible. Dilapidated concrete flower beds and fences adorn the central part of the city and make that space non-functional and unused. Also, this space in the city center is not visited even by the citizens of Pljevlja, which is unacceptable.

The Democrats will offer a new and more beautiful appearance of the square, which will significantly contribute to raising the quality of social life, but also change the image of Pljevlja.

The conceptual project includes the construction of an outdoor amphitheater, in dimensions that correspond to the current state. In addition, it is planned to install new furniture and pave the Square, and in order to enhance the existing content, low and tall plants will be planted that match the climate of this area.

The Democrats have the goal of beautifying the living environment of the residents of Pljevlja, and at the same time the image of the city. So come home, because we have a plan for a modern city.

Democrats: Kolašin will get a modern sports complex

In Kolašin, on the banks of the Tara, as part of one of the most beautiful promenades in Montenegro, we have a scene that does not befit the beauties that normally adorn the city and which does not befit a city that aims to become an important tourist center of the north of Montenegro. Instead of landscaped green areas, especially in the promenade area, we have large undeveloped and unused areas of land, neglected lawns and scattered rubble. We will agree, this is not a picture of Kolašin striving for progress.

In order to beautify Kolašin itself, as well as the living environment for the citizens, the Democrats created a conceptual project for the mentioned location. The project envisages the construction of a facility that will be in the interest and pride of all citizens, and which will significantly contribute to the quality of social life and standards. For these reasons, the Democrats will build a sports complex that will provide citizens with the best conditions for the development and improvement of sports.

The project will be implemented through a public-private partnership, which means: the municipality will provide facilities, and the investor will build. The sports complex will contain a field for mini-football with bleachers, a court for basketball and tennis. It will also include a building with an outdoor swimming pool. In addition, the project provided for the existence of catering facilities, as well as sports facilities that are performed indoors, such as table tennis, bowling and the like.

Democratic Montenegro will conscientiously, responsibly and domestically work for a more beautiful Kolašin in the interest of the citizens. So come home, because we have a plan for a modern city.
