The main goal of the DPS government in Rožaje will be for young and professional people, without party divisions, to get the opportunity to participate in the work and create the daily life of Rožaje, said the list holder Bećir Kalač, at the election forum of the DPS in Rožaje, according to the announcement of that party.
In his speech, Kalač stated that the current government has made many promises that it has not fulfilled. He said that this administration owed the Municipality 15 million euros and did not open a single factory, as it had announced. He pointed out that in four years, they irrationally managed public finances and ruthlessly spent taxpayers' money, citing the example of the reconstruction of the Military Department building, the value of which was recorded at 210 thousand euros.
Kalač also said that the DPS in Rožaje has a vision and prepared two programs for the recovery of this environment in order to make Rožaje a modern municipality.
He announced incentives for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, incubator business centers and a productive employment program. Kalač said that he believes that the current government will be replaced in the elections on May 27 and that this will give a chance for the recovery of Rožaj for the benefit of all citizens.
In the announcement, DPS Rožaje states that those present at the convention were addressed by councilor candidates and activists of local committees.
The DPS said that the candidate for councilor of the local board of Kalača, art professor Merima Kalač, said that she will represent the biggest and strongest party in Montenegro in the best way. She invited the residents of Kalač and Koljen to circle number 8 in order to contribute to the victory of DPS in Rožaje.
Council candidate Safedin Caro Mujević said that the people of Rožaj have always known to choose the right side, and that on May 27 they will round up the right number and thereby punish hypocritical politics and the irresponsible current government in Rožaj.
Mujević added that OO DPS will advocate for the formation of a local administration that will be accessible to everyone, regardless of political or any other affiliation.
A member of the executive board of OO DPS, Mersad Mujević, addressed the audience and said that he is proud of the unity of these two local communities, where DPS has always had a strong foothold.
He said that the Democratic Party of Socialists in Rožaje is ready to face all challenges and that after May 27, they have a lot of work to do and a local administration with renewed personnel.
