Although he left the post of prime minister at the end of last year, DPS president Milo Đukanović still has habits from the time when he was in charge of the government - as in the previous two decades, he rests in August in Budva, only that he has replaced "Villa Miločer" with the hotel "Avala", whose the formal owner is his close friend Zoran-Ćoćo Bećirović.
With his wife Lidija, Đukanović spends his vacation exclusively in the presidential suite of this hotel near the Old Town, where, according to eyewitnesses, he behaves as if he were at home. The other guests of "Avala" look at him almost every morning as he flips through the daily press with juice and coffee at the pool above Ričardova glava beach.
As "Vijesti" has learned, numerous security guards for Đukanović and his wife include, in addition to his closest companions, members of the police in plainclothes.

Although, according to hotel guests, the security guards try to be as invisible as possible, their presence is also felt when the Đukanovićs walk around the hotel to the pool or go out to the Old Town.
In the spacious, 140-square-meter, two-story presidential suite on the fourth floor of the hotel, the Đukanovićs have a complete service at their disposal. The apartment is reached by a special elevator, and the Đukanovićs usually have breakfast, lunch or dinner in the apartment.
Although in previous years they swam exclusively at Kraljičina beach, which was literally reserved for them during August, this year they replaced the most beautiful Montenegrin beach with a hotel pool, modeled after the elite "Bulgari" hotel in Milan.
