Plav Municipality President and Bosniak Party (BS) official Orhan Šahmanović supported the presidential candidate of the Justice and Reconciliation Party (SPP) Hazbija Kalač.
Šahmanović's party, led by President Rafet Husović, supported the candidate of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Milo Đukanović.
"The most important thing is to give everything for freedom. It's never more important than now to give your best for survival in these areas. Voice must be raised and changes must be made. I am honestly here to help in the fight for freedom. This is a difficult , but it's really an honorable job, whoever leads it the way it should. I hope that Hazbija will be the future president. He deserved it after everything he's done so far. Let him be happy, we are honestly with Hazbija," Šahmanović said. .
SPP announced that the support of Orhan Šahmanović represents a significant step forward on the political scene, considering that BS supported Đukanović.
"There is no doubt that this move by Šahmanović will encourage Sandžaklije to provide even more hearty support to Kalac," SPP said.
