Yesterday, the Presidency of the SDP proposed to the Main Committee, which will probably be held next week, to schedule the Congress for June 3.
The SDP presidency also proposed several documents to the GO, on which delegates at the Congress will have the final say. It is about the new program and the statute, that is, their amendments. The interlocutor of "Vijesti" from the SDP said that it is planned that the new program will be "stronger" compared to the current one, and that a program declaration will probably be adopted in which SDP's position on economic and social issues should be presented clearly. The new SDP vice-presidents will be elected after the Congress. They are elected by the Main Committee, on the proposal of the party president.
The DPS Congress is scheduled for May 21.
