Democrats: Tsarević, don't drag us by the tongue so we don't make a feuilleton with you in the lead role

The Democrats of Budva responded to the mayor of Budva, Marko Bata Carević, on the statement he delivered earlier today to "Vijesta".

We transmit the reaction of the Democrats in full:

"Mr. Tsarević, since you insist on a public controversy, we will answer you once more. We will answer both you and Marko Kentera, the owner of Kopirajt and the member of the OKG who is writing your response.

In vain, you try to portray us as revengers, and yourself as a good host with a substantial property record. Your last reaction reminds us of a fairy tale that the citizens of Budva and Montenegro heard a long time ago. That fairy tale is called "Good people from Budva". Now we publicly promise you, both you and the citizens, that there will be no continuation of that story in Budva! This is the essence of our response and political action. Miss Baštrica is just one in a series of moves that the public does not see, or did not see until our reaction. We don't expel anyone, as you say, but we choose with whom and in what way we exercise power and manage our city.

We are all adults, Mr. Tsarević. Even though we are not "successful" like you in life, we still have our attitudes and choices, we have ours, and you have yours. You used to be with "good people from Budva", and as you can see, no one blamed you for that, nor did they try to censor you. On the contrary, today you are the president of the Municipality of Budva thanks to our votes.

We are sure that the DPS are grateful to you for praising the government that, as you say, we replaced together, although if they were so good, maybe we shouldn't have replaced them. We remember that in October 2016 you clicked from the stage at MSC that it was time to "send this evil to history". It seems that they are not so mean to you from today's perspective. You obviously think we are worse than them. If so, it would be good if you say so publicly, without twisting and hiding.

As for Miss Baštrica, our problem is not her party card, but we are afraid that some things from the past will happen again, while we in SO Budva dominantly support this government with our votes. The problem is that the person in question was presented as a special adviser to the President of the Municipality, and as of today, there is no solution or contract. Therefore, he does not have any formal position in the Municipality, and he has access to documentation which, according to our information, he copies and takes outside the municipal premises. We repeat, we are not interested in who votes for whom and what their personal preferences are, but we are very interested in who does what and how they decide when it comes to the public interest of Budva and its citizens.

Ask the employees of the Municipality if they are dissatisfied with the mandate of Mr. Krapović, ask everyone in turn, regardless of who they vote for and who they support. Ask if in the previous two years any of the workers were pressured and blackmailed in any way and on any basis? In the last couple of days, you have uttered a large number of insults against us, Mr. President, from the fact that we have not done anything in our lives to the fact that we are dilettantes. Mr. Tsarević, in your public statements in the last few days, you have lowered yourself below an acceptable level for us, so we must warn you that being a transitional winner does not give you the right to give moral sermons and tirades to anyone about paying taxes and fair business. Are you saying that we don't pay taxes, or that we are less honest than you? Who gave you the right to judge us as people? There are people in our ranks who have been exposing the robberies of the DPS for years, from WTE to Plateau on Jazu, the same one whose construction, according to your public confession, you arranged with the fugitive head of OKG, Svetozar Marović. You can't even mention his name today!

As for Mr. Radoman, also a member of the DPS, and JU "Grad Teatar", the fact that the person in question took 12 monthly wages that he is entitled to by law, and the court subsequently awarded him another 24 wages according to the contract, is only an indicator how rotten the judicial apparatus is in Montenegro. We think that it is a small price for the progress that has happened in "Grad Teatr" since Mr. Radoman left! He left "Grad Teatar" with debts of more than half a million euros, mostly to the companies of Mr. Marko Kentera, your informal advisor, who writes your responses. Today, "Grad Teatar" is a completely healthy institution, with no debts to anyone, whose programs are of exceptional quality and whose performances are performed in silence. Now it is on its way to regaining its glory from its glory days this summer, or should we leave it again to Multimedia, the company of your advisor/friend?

Finally, please don't imply that we are attacking DF, because that is not true. We do not have any problem with DF, with our respected colleagues with whom we are working on the recovery of Budva, but we have a problem with those who would like to have continuity of influence in the government and combinations from 2002 until today. However, such a thing is not possible as long as we participate in the government in Budva. Given that you have chosen to be their spokesperson and argue with us publicly, be careful how you address us and what accusations and insults you make. Consider this reaction as a final warning and don't pull our tongues, because otherwise we will make a feuilleton out of this polemic, and you will be in the main role!"
