The Agency for Prevention of Corruption found that three councilors violated the Law on Prevention of Corruption.
The institution headed by Sreten Radonjić confirmed the writing of "Vijesti" that the member of the Bosniak Party in the Rožaje Municipal Assembly, Besim Kurbardović, was illegally at the same time the authorized representative of "Selena".
Kurbardović told the Agency that ten years ago he founded a family business with his father and brother and that its business is their only source of income. He added that after learning that he had a conflict of interest, he made a change in the Central Registry.
The agency also established that the member of the Democratic Party of Socialists in the Pljevlja Municipal Assembly, Ilhan Tursumović, violated the same law because he was also the director of the city health center at the same time.
Tursumović said that he was not aware that the two public functions were incompatible, referring to the opinion of the Agency itself from 2016, in which it is written that this is possible. The agency also established that the Democratic councilor in the Municipal Council of Pljevlja, Milojica Tešović, violated the same law because he was also an authorized representative in "Primasoft".
Tešović said that his wife is the owner and he did not know that she was in a conflict of interest. Upon learning, he requested to be deleted as an authorized representative from the CRPS and submitted an extract.
According to the law, they will be fined from 500 to 2.000 euros.
