Mandić: Đukanović voted to enter the war, then went "to the feet" of the murderers of our people

NATO had its allies on land - terrorists from the KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army), who in the previous period were pacified by the actions of the Serbian police and the Yugoslav Army. However, the terrorists were given wings by aggression, so they could wash out of their holes again and continue with crimes, mostly against civilians. Another NATO ally was the top of the regime in Montenegro, which did everything to make it difficult for the army to defend the homeland, Andrija Mandić, president of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD) and member of the Presidency of the Democratic Front (DF), announced today on the occasion 20 years since the NATO aggression against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY).

"Parapolice units were also formed with the aim of opposing the army and helping the aggressor. In the end, the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, sealed such behavior with an unprecedented betrayal. It will be remembered that, as a member of the Supreme Council of Defense, he voted to enter the war against the aggressor, and then, in the midst of great suffering, he went to Brussels "at the feet" of the murderers of our people. Djukanović and his regime have maintained their position as puppets of the Western powers, henchmen and executors of their orders to this day. In the spring of 2017, without a referendum, against the will of the people, his regime will introduce Montenegro into an alliance that killed our citizens, into a pact that brutally killed our brothers, relatives, friends on the bridge in Murin," said Mandić.

He added that it will be remembered that the regime of that spring in 1999 failed to shake the people of Montenegro, to plant its seed of betrayal.

"Tens of thousands of citizens responded to the call to defend their country. I am proud that I was a member of the armed forces of the VJ that spring and that I participated in operations against the enemy," Mandic said.

He added that memories of the spring of 1999 cause pride and sadness.

"The opportunity to, like our ancestors, fight for the justice and freedom of our homeland, and the fact that we have against us the world's greatest military force of all time. That force has shown that "force" is primarily by violating the rules of the UN, bombing a sovereign state for no reason and without the decision of the Security Council. When she had already violated that, then the way was open for her to attack FR Yugoslavia, with clear goals - to start with the establishment of the NATO order in the Balkans and to form a fake state on the soil of Serbia. But, our people and the army decided not to surrender, to resist. Every day, every night, tons and tons of bombs fell on our cities and villages, NATO aviation killed thousands of civilians and soldiers, demolished hospitals, embassies, bridges, factories, severe consequences remained even years later...", Mandic said.

the NSD president also said that NATO has never shown remorse for what it did in 1999.

"He continued with the policy of terror and force in other countries, but his time is clearly passing. Opposite him now is the powerful Russia, which has again become the hope of humanity and the defender of the values ​​of the circle of civilization to which our Orthodox people belong. It is very important that the resistance to the strategy and plans, NATO is strong in the region - Serbia, as the militarily strongest country in the Balkans, has declared military neutrality, and resistance to NATO's intentions is unwaveringly provided by the Republika Srpska, the greatest asset of the Serbian people since 1945," Mandic said.

He also said that these are the days when we reverently remember those who died that spring in 1999.

"20 years have passed, but we can't and won't forget, and it's hard to forgive, because it wasn't a fight between equals, but cowardice, survival and terror against a heroic people. Let's remember our heroes from Košar, Pastrik, and all the others who following the spirit of their ancestors, fearlessly stood up to defend their homeland. Every free-minded person opposes and stands up against force. NATO is a naked force, an opponent of freedom. And throughout history, the Serbian people and Montenegro have valued freedom above all else. That is why Montenegro is not deserved to be part of a pact that oppresses and humiliates other peoples. Montenegro has never done that. Eternal glory to the victims who fell in the spring of 1999 in the cowardly bombing of the FRY," concluded Mandić.
