Agreement on the future: Resignations and action outside the institutions, foreign policy remains the same for now

Extra-institutional activities and resignations of the highest state officials are items that were added to the Agreement for the Future, which reached an agreement between the civil movement "Resist 97.000" and representatives of the opposition parties.

The document should be signed on Saturday, on stage, by all 39 opposition MPs. In the proposal of the "Resist" Agreement, the Social Democratic Party and the Democratic Front included unacceptable proposals to boycott the Assembly, and the DF was also bothered by the fact that, as they claimed, the request for the resignations of top state officials Milo Đukanović, Duško Marković, Milivoj Katnić, Ivica was abandoned. Stanković, ASK director Sreten Radonjić and RTCG Božidar Šundić, as well as the Council of that media house.

A compromise was reached, according to "Vijesti" information, by inserting the synonym "extra-institutional action" and by entering the request for resignations into the document, which should be declared by the authorities of all parties. According to the knowledge of "Vijesti", even after the signing of the document, the parties will be able to act in the parliament, and any non-institutional activities will be mutually coordinated and agreed upon. Also, according to the claims of one of the participants of the meeting, the principle remained in the document that in the technical government, the opposition, the ruling structure and non-party figures each have a third of the representatives.

When it comes to foreign policy, for now things remain as they are.

A member of the organizing committee of the protest, Džemal Perović, said after the meeting that the agreement will be presented to the public after it is signed by all 39 deputies on stage, at the protest, not wanting to reveal whether they deviated from their original demands.

The meeting was attended by the leader of the Democrats and the general secretary of that party, Aleksa Bečić and Boris Bogdanović, the president of GP URA and the executive director Dritan Abazović and Zoran Mikić, the president of the Socialist People's Party Vladimir Joković, member of the SDP Presidency Ivan Vujović, officials and deputies of the Democratic Front Strahinja Bulajić , Predrag Bulatović and Branko Radulović, representatives of United Montenegro Stojan Sjekloć and Demos Vuko Vlahović, as well as Željka Savković of the Workers' Party. SDP President Ranko Krivokapić appeared in front of the house where the leaders and representatives of the opposition had gathered, but he left before the meeting began.

Last Sunday, representatives of the civil movement "Resist" offered the opposition Agreements, which, among other things, propose the formation of a civil unity government in which representatives of the ruling coalition, the opposition and independent experts would each have a third of the seats.

The draft agreement also stipulates that the opposition undertakes to boycott the parliament and all elections before the conditions for their holding are created.
