DPS Budva: Democrats prove that even worse can get worse

The assembly session of the local parliament in Budva revealed a lot of things that the ruling coalition is trying to hide from the eyes of the Budva public, according to the Budva committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).

"In the sea of ​​"problematic" reports, to put it mildly, the one related to the young hope of Bečić's demagogues - Martin Zenović, is especially inspiring. With his appointment as director of the "Sports Recreational Center", the demagogues managed to convince us that in the future we can have even worse staff from their famous Franović, the director of the Budva Tourist Organization," the Budva DPS press release states.

First, as they claim, Zenović was irregularly appointed to that position.

"This was followed by the labor inspector's report on the illegal election of the director and clear guidelines to correct the mistake. Of course, this has not been done to this day. There is also a negative opinion from the Ministry of Public Administration, which was requested by the Secretariat for Social Activities. Then he disputed the contract with a lawyer , done without the knowledge of the board of directors and without a public invitation, and then, writing off the debt of PUK "Stari grad" Budva, whose founder is the closest relative of the young Zenović..."

Now, according to the DPS, it is clear why the Assembly rejected the work plan and the financial plan of the "Sports and Recreational Center Budva".

"The very course of the session was so painful for the young Zenović, probably aware that he would not be able to "get away", like his party friend Franović, and escape from the court of the general public. All this created a visible nervousness in him, which soon spread to his party colleagues. Realizing that Zenović was in a checkmate position and that the report would not be adopted, the inevitable Miomir Pejović came to the rescue. Violating the procedure, upset by the situation in which their staff found themselves, he tried to get hold of the parliamentary rostrum and deliver a quasi-moral sermon other coalition partners," the DPS states.

Democrats, as they assess in DPS, these and similar cases related to personnel policy, show that "you can get worse from the worst."

"It is clear that you do not have a political program, that your personnel are incompetent, that you have a chronic lack of ideas to do anything developmentally for the city... The only thing you do not lack is the negative energy that you spread to the other coalition partners, and of course demagoguery and populism with which you are trying to overshadow your inability to lead this city," concludes the Budva DPS announcement.
