Yesterday, the Civil Aviation Agency (ACV) confirmed the authenticity of the document that we disclosed, which only put a stamp on our claims, and denied the executive director of the Aerodrome of Montenegro, Danilo Orlandić, it is stated in today's response of the Civil Movement (GP) URA to Orlandić's reaction yesterday.
"That Orlandić is using gross falsehoods was confirmed yesterday through an authentic document that we disclosed, which states that the Tivat Airport runway is in a worrying state and that it is a threat to the safety of passengers, officials and air traffic. In addition, we learned that Orlandić has paid several fines to the agency due to neglecting this situation on the airport runway, which further confirms our assertions made at the press conference yesterday," they state in GP URA.
"Danilo Orlandić, following the example of his party base, sees the well-argued criticism and evidence that the infrastructure of Montenegro's airport is in a bad state as an 'attempt to compromise the state of Montenegro and endanger its growing economy.' but the competent state agency (ACV). We, as a responsible political entity, only disclosed to the public what you hid and for which you will probably be held criminally responsible," Orlandić from GP URA said.
They also say that the disastrous condition of the runway at Tivat Airport was clumsily confirmed by Orlandić himself in yesterday's response, stating that they noticed the changes on the runway, that they have not done anything about it so far and that they are still administratively preparing for rehabilitation.
"By his reaction, Danilo Orlandić showed that he is not worthy of the position he holds and that he does not have the necessary moral and professional capacities, which does not surprise us if we bear in mind that this is a party conspiracy of a parasitic party. Orlandić is just one of the constellation of father's sons who For years, he has been changing state positions from the head of the cabinet of the Minister of Internal Affairs, through the assistant director of the Agency for Construction and Development of Podgorica and various advisory positions to the position of executive director of the Airport of Montenegro. What the younger Orlandić does not understand is that airports are not toys and that such important state the resource cannot be managed in a non-transparent and irresponsible manner, putting into question traffic safety and the lives of passengers", emphasized the GP URA.
They repeat that they disclosed the document because they have responsibility as a political entity and are concerned about the safety and lives of passengers and employees at Tivat Airport.
"We will continue to investigate this problem and we will insist on the responsibility of those who questioned the safety of passengers, employees of Tivat airport and employees of airlines, thereby endangering the image of Montenegro as a tourist destination," they conclude in the announcement.
