The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Ivan Brajović, at today's meeting with the Ambassador of the United States of America to Montenegro, Margaret Ann Uehara, repeated his assessment of the very successful meetings during his stay in the USA on the occasion of the recently held Prayer Breakfast in Washington, it was announced from the office of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro.
Brajović and Uehara agreed on the importance of diplomatic activities and meetings with representatives of the United States of America and other countries with which Montenegro shares the same democratic values.
The meeting also discussed the political situation in Montenegro in the run-up to the presidential elections.
In this context, President Brajović pointed out that we welcome the upcoming presidential and then local elections in an additionally improved electoral environment, bearing in mind the adopted recommendations of the OSCE/ODIHR.
