Vice-President of the Civil Movement URA Neđeljko Rudović announced today that the servants of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in the Council of the Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG) are returning the country to the darkness of one-partyism.
He assesses as grotesque the statement of the members of the RTCG Council after the dismissal of Andrijana Kadija from the post of director of the RTCG and says that they are pawns of the regime and that this fact is clear to the entire Montenegrin public.
"By deciding to capture the public service again, they poke a finger in the eye of common sense, professional journalism, free citizens of Montenegro, but also Western partners who expect progress from Montenegro, and not a return to the darkness of one-partyism and turning the public service into a propaganda service of the government and uncontrolled power ", states Rudović.
He adds that because of this situation, the EU accession negotiations will also suffer, because, as he claims, it is impossible to expect progress and closure of the most important chapters in these conditions.
"Due to the attempt to preserve power and unlimited power, the whole country suffers and becomes a prisoner of the ruling clique. By promoting the obedience of the DPS with its servants in the Council of the RTCG and other parastatal bodies that should formally be the controllers of the power of the DPS, it is done away with a shameless collapse of the fundamental values that they make a society coherent and fundamentally healthy," concluded Rudović.
