Minister of Foreign Affairs Srđan Darmanović attended today the ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends for Mediation, which was held on the sidelines of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, Darmanović's office announced.
"On that occasion, the importance of new technologies for peace and the peaceful resolution of disputes as a means of inclusion was pointed out. The participants agreed that for the success of mediation, the inclusion of all segments of society, above all women, youth and civil society, is of great importance," it was announced from Daramnović's cabinet.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Darmanović spoke with the Head of Diplomacy of the Republic of Croatia, Gordan Grlić Radman.
"The interlocutors assessed that the relations between the two countries are very good, strengthened by the intense political dialogue and alliance in NATO. They expressed satisfaction that the enlargement policy will be one of Croatia's priorities during the presidency of the EU Council, which begins in January 2020. The rest of the day is planned the participation of the head of Montenegrin diplomacy at the ministerial meeting on the topic of multilateralism organized by Germany and France, then the working lunch of the ministers of foreign affairs of the member states and observers of the American-Adriatic Charter (A5), as well as the signing of an agreement in the fields of culture and education with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Çavuşoğlu", it was concluded.
