United Montenegro welcomed the decision of the Democratic Front to permanently leave the Committee for Comprehensive Reform of Electoral Legislation.
The Presidency of the Democratic Party made a decision that the alliance should permanently leave the Committee in charge of comprehensive electoral reform and that the members of that body, Strahinja Bulajić, Branka Bošnjak and Predrag Bulatović, should resign their membership in that body to the Assembly.
"We are using the opportunity to, through this decision of the DF, send an invitation to other colleagues from the opposition to leave the Committee, and then to jointly put pressure on the DPS. As we have repeated countless times until now - no parliamentary committee can prepare the elections, it is possible only through a technical government in which everyone would participate and in which the parties would delegate leaders to take responsibility", it was announced from the United Montenegro.
They add that "without responsibility there is no seriousness" and that "otherwise we are just looking for the culprit for the lost elections, and we are running away from winning them".
"We remind you that a week ago, MP Goran Danilović of the UCG sent all opposition colleagues a 10-point plan proposal, which still stands as a starting point that we all understand. We hope that this decision of the DF will be a sign to the rest of the opposition that we must act together and that our strength is in unity, not in individual actions," the UCG statement concludes.
