The president of the Socialist People's Party (SNP), Vladimir Joković, said that those who are against the unity of the opposition are fighting against his party.
He said that after the congress, the party was consolidated.
"We are being attacked by those who still cannot accept the results of the congress. Those who do not like the fact that we are advocating for the unity of the opposition. The leadership of the party has never been more united. We do not have a word of disagreement, even though it was difficult at first, because some wanted two powers". he said at the press conference.
He said that he will visit all municipal committees, stating that the number of new members and those returning to the party is increasing.
"This current SNP is the primordial, popular one, in which people had confidence. We have a serious responsibility to continue like that," said Joković.
He said that the SNP does not support the Committee for Comprehensive Reform of Electoral Laws, stating that most of the opposition is outside the committee.
He said that the election process has no perspective if there is no technical government. "She is the only guarantor that the elections will be held in a fair manner," he said.
He said that the decision of Danijela Pavićević and Srđan Milić to end the boycott was made without consulting the party.
He also said that they do not participate in the work of the party and do not represent it in the Assembly.
"It's easier for us because they broke the decision they made when Milić was president. They don't represent the party in the parliament," he said.
Commenting on Radom Gogić's decision to leave the SNP, he said that now only those who have not been in the party for a long time are contacting us.
Joković said that new parties will be formed in the coming days, which should be a front in the elections, if the rest of the opposition decides to boycott.
"Many parties are formed by DPS before the elections because they have in all parties those who work for their interests. Remember Drago Đurović in Nikšić," said Joković.
He said that the "Yes everyone has" alliance is functioning and that it is not a pre-election coalition. He said that the SNP will decide how it will perform in the elections, as it advocates a broad opposition list.
