Delegation of the Bosniak Party. led by Vice President Osman Nurković and Political Director Suljo Mustafić, participates in the work of the Congress of the European People's Party (EPP), which takes place on November 20 and 21 in Zagreb.
"The role of the Bosniak Party as a pro-Western and pro-European party is significant for the political scene of Montenegro and contributes to its stability, strengthening of institutions, regional cooperation and the overall European perspective of the region," the party said.
Representatives of BS spoke with Paul Rangel, vice-president of the EPP and Domagoj Ivan Milošević, president of the Committee for European Affairs in the Croatian Parliament.
"The strategic commitment to a civil state and multi-ethnic values were significant recommendations for membership in this most numerous political alliance in the European Parliament," BS representatives were told.
Continued support for the EU enlargement policy towards the region was announced, as well as the strengthening of European values, through support for the strengthening of economic and infrastructure projects that strengthen economies and better connect the countries of the region.
On the sidelines of the Congress in Zagreb, representatives of BS also spoke with Šefik Džaferović, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Vice-President of the BS and Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Osman Nurkovic also met with his Croatian colleague Oleg Butković and on that occasion the visit of Minister Butković to Podgorica was agreed.
