The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Srđan Darmanović, reiterated that the action of the three ambassadors, Miodrag Vlahović, Nebojša Kaluđerović and Željko Perović, who paid a fine of 600 euros imposed on the suspended employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MVP) Mirna Nikčević, was inappropriate. initiated disciplinary proceedings and referred it to the Government Commission for action.
He said this at the control hearing on the functioning of diplomatic and consular representations of Montenegro before the parliamentary Committee for International Relations and Emigrants.
Both government and opposition MPs agreed that the action of the three ambassadors was inappropriate.
"If you don't do anything, we will have to prepare for difficult times," said DF deputy Jovan Vučurović.
"They did it in a targeted manner and it is part of the state project," said DF MP Branka Bošnjak.
The ruling coalition assessed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs acted in accordance with the law.
"The MVP is doing an exceptional job, this is an incident. This is an inappropriate procedure, but let's wait for the completion of the disciplinary procedure," said DPS representative, Dragutin Papović.
